Nice backpedal. Your initial was response was the 15th post in the thread, generic and did not specifically address the post that someone inside ND said the deal was done.
First post from me on this thread. Why are people taking this as fact. You couldnt figure that out genius who I was talking too?

2nd post. Responding to someone saying maybe its not fact and just speculating. I respond ssying its internet rumor mill trash.

Something to think about --

"Most importantly, a coach who takes this (Vandy) job will be accepting a risk. He must be able to afford a failure. The Vanderbilt job has been a bottomless pit recently. Who can take the gig, potentially get fired in a few years, and still retain the stature he currently possesses in the industry? "
I’m not saying Vanderbilt is a great job, but that quote isn’t an accurate statement. Bobby Johnson was at Vandy for 8 years and until he retired. James Franklin was there threes years and left for PSU and Derek Mason was there for 7 years. It was obvious Mason was in over his head after the very first game but they kept him for 7 seasons. How is that a bottomless pit? One failure out of the last three coaches and he was retained for 7 years and made a boatload of money.
