Just rewatching this, it really was worse than I remembered.

The sideline interference was “do they really need to call that”.

The first PI was “He had his hand on the shoulder pad that’s PI”

Then on the face mask “you can call that, you don’t have to but you can”

The PI on GA on that same drive. 2nd and 7 with the defender holding the ND guys arm was “that just aggressive coverage”.

What a bunch of tools

Watching now. They totally agreed with the sideline interference call. You definitely misinterpreted that. All 3 said it was right call

I believe the same announcers will do the Orange Bowl.

Sean McDonough is as dull as an overused butcher knife also! But we'll be hearing his pleasant voice next Thursday night again.

Sad but true !

Are announcers trained to talk in singsongy voices? Not all do but I find it annoying. An example would be Howard Cosell, although I liked him. Bob Costas too.

You can clearly hear him ask the replay official, do you really have to call that. Its usually a warning. You are correct, the Rules official said yes. I'm referring to the announcer

Just saw the face mask, after the replay both said it should have been called
Maybe had a diff broadcast. ;)

Listen again more closely, Mat the rules analyst absolutely does not say "Should" of been called. He says it "Could" have been called as if its a judgement. Say it like a rules analyst. "It should have been called, they missed it". I would have been ok.

His exact quote was "It could have been called....but...didnt get it this time"

I just felt the entire game it was dig after dig.......ND has the worst FG kicking.....ND is the worst in the country on 3rd down ....ND beat a not as good as normal UGA. They never really had much good to say about ND or thew win to me.

Feel how i feel, ESPN really does not like ND.

No. Do you have to call that the first time it happens basically yo make a statement so it doesn't happen again was the context. And he agreed with the replay guy and so did Mcelroy

I agree 100%. This sec bias is out of control

Every single fan base watching their teams in this playoff believes two things: the refs are favoring the other team, and the announcers are favoring the other team. I visited a Georgia message board, and they thought the refs and announcers favored us. So, people just need to step back and enjoy the games for what they are.

He is the best. Knows it is about the game and not the announcers. Think him and McElroy are the best in the business.

Meanwhile, ever since Jeter's injury, our board has gone out of its mind over the lousy FG kicking. And how many of our posters have been saying Georgia was not as good as its recent NC teams and that we would win this game? I don't remember anyone mentioning our third-down woes, but if if we are bad on third down, what's wrong with mentioning that during a game?

My comment on the early PI against ND was, “they better call that both ways”
And of course, the refs didn’t
