Im a lifelong ND fan and ISU graduate. Born and raised in Iowa but I have been to over 10 Notre Dame games and am very familiar with campus and South Bend. For all you elitists ragging on Iowa and Ames please know Ames is a way better place to live than South Bend. Iowa may not be a booming ball of excitement as a state, I'll give you that, but the people here are way more tolerable. Des Moines and Ames are a great place to live and raise a family. Both often nationally rank on lists that factor in jobs, money, schooling, entertainment, and arts and culture (see other topics for links https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ames,_Iowa). The ISU fans you meet will be gracious as you'll ever meet. Try to return the favor. Go Irish!
