The oline did not look good. I know the rbs missed some pick ups, but alt was off all game and it appeared that Blake was catching a lot and backing up which led to a bunch of the Buchner deflections

Yea, maybe Alt was dealing with some sort of injury, but he played poorly yesterday. O line finally started to wear down South Carolina in the 4th quarter. Nonetheless, I am always amazed about the inconsistency in the O line’s performance despite having some top flight individual talents. Some have pointed to HH; yet the same situation persisted with his predecessor.

We ended up with 558 yds - 294 passing and 264 rushing. So for a "bad day" for the OL, it was a pretty good game, by the looks of things.

Absolutely. He got better as the game wore on but boy oh boy he looked rough in pass pro. Run blocking was better. The left side opened several crater sized holes in the 2nd half.
