I think FSU got hosed more than anyone. I don't think they'd beat any of the teams in question but being unbeaten, winning your power 5 conference title, and being left out is BS IMO.
That being said, I almost wonder if the selection committee was worried about repeating the TCU debacle. TCU deserved to be there, they earned it, but that NC game against UGA was horrendous.
The thing that bothers me is that I don't believe UGA was all that great this year and I'm not surprised bama beat them. There again, UGA cliently squeaked through the season unbeaten, much like FSU did. But the pollsters act as though Alabama just beat the KC Chiefs in Arrowhead.
Everyone on TV talks about how Alabama appears to be one of the four best right now. They looked like turds the first 6 games (I say turds by their standards), but they pulled it together and were much better the second half of the season. Great, but I thought the whole resume was looked at, not just who's peaking at the end of the year?
Nonetheless, I'm pulling for the Huskies. Watching them against Oregon.. twice, I like em. Bama, even though I think they got preferential treatment, I hope they blow the doors off Michigan. I couldn't care less about Texas.
Alabama vs Washington for the NC has a bit of a nice ring to it in my book.
