If it is your suggestion that ND students/athletes don't have access to simple/easy classes you are mistaken. Pottery in the old field house anyone? People's of Africa in O'Shag, there was a tv/film one which was great (I learned that The Towering Inferno had flaws...(fire doesn't travel down the way the film depicted it, water doesn't follow stair wells).... an art class where we looked at slides of famous works, criminology.... I could go on and on, but some of our electives were easier than high school classes I had taken.... We also had a system where upperclassmen would snag extra class cards for underclassmen as those easier electives filled up fast...

the Johnny football story is a sad one; a real shocker! there were no signs of impending disaster based upon his time at TAM. The staff (Sumlin) there had him tow the line for sure! Team first was the theme. Example, how well the teamwork was getting a staff member up the escalator and to his room after someone spiked his unsweetened ice tea!

Our program has been an absolute behavioral blight for years. It's embarrassing. There's a good chance that it's going to culminate with the biggest stain on the football program in ND history.....

No, three of those links are the same TMZ article from 11/4/2014 4:26 PM PST (BY TMZ STAFF).

I believe the good outweighs the negative at ND. Today was ND Day and my FB page was filled with wonderful stories about the students and faculty of ND.
I just don't get rehashing past transgressions for the sole purpose of bashing your alma mater or Brian Kelly.
As far as nearly two-year academic scandal goes your links/quotes are old and before the investigation was completed and paperwork turned over to NCAA. Call me crazy, but I seem to remember a statement/interview by ND official(s) that no other students/football players were involved and certainly felt like whatever improper went on was over that summer from the tone of the article/interview I was reading. I frequent a couple of other ND sites to read and haven't seen any links or threads about the NCAA making the Irish vacate games.
Of course, ND could get bad news from the NCAA, but until they do, why worry?

cvr, you must be a unhappy old man who never got laid in college or after college. And you spend your entire free time on this site. Pretty sad that you spend so much time on this site. Your 100 percent negative rants and defamation of ND football is so tiresome.

J Brent was out getting laid - who cares if it was with a porn star for crying out loud. He probably had some great stories to tell his teammates.

I think the reason he has not played yet is that he has had some great receivers ahead of him on the depth chart.

Lastly, I will take ND and them graduating 99% of their football players and the overall values the entire school adheres too over any other school in the USA. No school is squeaky clean. All schools have some bad apples every now and then or college kids who are good and great kids who make bad decisions from time to time. I dont know of a college kid on earth who at one time or another has not made a dumb decision at least once in their college careers.

Please quit acting like a Saint and Preaching how virgin clean ND needs to be - it is a college - for crying out loud.

One last thing CVGR - When ND gives the Long horns a beat down in Texas - I hope the boys celebrate their big win w/ a lot of ice cold PBR's or Budwiesers and being competitive athletes who love to compete end the night playing a little beer pong and maybe some quarters !

I bet at Stanford their players head to the Technology club after games and read about Apple, Google and other Silicon Valley companies. Then go to bed early so they can be at their yoga class by 7 am the next day.
