You are asking moderators to spend their time policing what should be grown ups responsibility...when all you have to do is skip over the thread. There's plenty of threads I ignore for one reason or another. Now..if this was the pay site..I would say you have a point. But its a free, anonymous board. Police yourself...ignore what you don't like. Personally, if I was a mod...I would be irritated that free posters are kicking the tires.

This stuff would never happen on the Rivals paid board. Ever. Pretty much squashed the same day, if not within minutes. Here, it's different, and some posters, the same handful of people, take advantage.

I don't believe for a minute that anyone had " their feelings hurt ". It's a Notre Dame athletics message board. Shouldn't be that hard for some to simply stick to that. Plenty of other places to engage in political banter. I doubt anyone is discussing sports on political boards.

Mods have been here from time to time asking posters to not post anything political. It's simply ignored by some.
