a Kelly Cares charity function. Coach Denbrock and Coach Gilmore sat at the table. Denbrock said don't expect to get an announcement as to who (Everett or Zaire) will be the starter. Both are locked into becoming the guy and are improving on their weaknesses.
The poster loved Coach Gilmore who says that he loves to recruit and is very demanding from his players.

And Kelly thinks that strategy works? Disguising who your quarterback is going to be means you don't have a quarterback. Kelly and his rinky dink D2 ways don't work at this level. I was hoping the run OSU just made would wake him up. His ego and inability to develop a QB are the two biggest factors as to why ND football is in a non-stop malaise.

I imagine it"s somewhat difficult for a QB to develop leadership skills if he's fighting for the starting position.

Maybe the QB competition will reveal stronger leadership abilities in one the 2 choices.
