Herron was evaluated by Notre Dame as a four-star recruit out of Louisville's Trinity High School, but he didn't receive an offer. His recruitment included a commitment to Michigan prior to flipping to Stanford.
I'm hearing there's some mutual interest between Herron and Notre Dame, so we're going to continue to monitor him. Louisville and Kentucky are also schools to watch, and we'll see if others emerge.
