Loading up on defensive linemen particularly tackles , we didn't do that well this year recruiting DL .But when you look at the 2016 roster , we still have some quality players in Rochell, Tillery ,Jones ,Trumbetti ,Jay Hayes ,Cage plus Bonner,Blankenship,Mokwauk and red-shirted linemen Tiassum ,Dew-Treadway .I expect freshmen D.Hayes and Kareem to get playing time . Don't expect freshmen Ogundeji and Okwara to play yet since they are listed as 220 pound defensive ends and need to put on some muscle and weight .

I hope we can have a very good defensive line with depth .

relax Izo because our irish have a great chance to bring in three 5 star d-line guys in the 2017 class. one is already committed and another has us as his favorite and then the third guy is really high on us and is concidering playing for the irish. the committed guy is Robert Beal and he'll be playing with fellow 5 star DE Josh Kaindoh of FL next season when he transfers from norcross GA to FL to play at IMG Academy and there he'll be able to help recruit Kaindoh who is super high on the irish. the third five star guy is Haskell Garrett who is a top five overall rated DT from Bishop Gorman in NV and he is on commit watch when he visits for this spring according to insiders

Right now ,Monday , I hope, at least we sign our commitments and there are no defections ? The scouting services are giving us no chance at B.Davis, Caleb Kelly .And now D. Robertson may wait on his college choice .
Right now we are in the top 10 in recruiting .But expect Ohio State, Michigan, Georgia, Alabama , LSU ,even Texas, USC, UCLA to close the deal with most of the top uncommitted high school players.Still seems like the SEC gets a majority of the unsigned stars .

Clemson coach Dabo Sweeney is probably right. A few years ago Clemson was stomped on by Florida State. He said then that Clemson had to recruit much better talent if they wanted to compete for a National Title ..

Now that B.Kelly has settled in as our coach , die-hard Domers are predicting a banner season in 2017 for defensive linemen . Already a commitment from a 5- star DLineman and a possibility of 2 more 5- star linemen and other top players on offense and defense.

Think B. Kelly wants a championship before or if he leaves for the pros .

I agree with most of the posts that we rarely end with signing the elite high school talent . And we are usually in the top 10-12 in recruiting before signing day ,then the rich football schools pull away from us, near or on signing day . Yet we still maintain a 10-15 ranking . So we must still have some top quality signees in this class and some of the freshmen will play and contribute early .
