A great way to start a playoff push. Weather cooling a Great running attack and a couple of weeks to get the running backs and QB healthy.
We don't have to worry about a crazy away atmosphere and the student athletes at Notre Dame will have less pressure on them with less travel.
USC --- North Carolina State and Wake Forest. We should have Great crowds for all three games. I just think with the great defense we have been playing and Wimbush who is almost a automatic TD maker in the red zone--- We have a great shot to win all three games and head into Miami 8 and 1. And I don't think Miami is as good as USC or NC St.
And then Navy who just gave up 45 points to AirForce----We should just run it down their throats and now we have a defense--Jerry Tillery, Jay Hayes, Stephen Bonner, and especially sure tackling inebackers like Tevon Coney, Greer Martini and Drue Tranquill. with help from Love and Shawn Crawford. I believe that Elkos defense creates a bunch of turnovers on Navy and we rout them easily.
And at last Stanford---there defense is not that good this year so we should be able to run all day on them and we just have to contain Love like they did to their heisman candidate last year. We also need to pressure their slow QB and I feel we can do that with Elko running things. This 2017 Notre Dame team is the best we have had since 1993 and has what it takes to make the playoffs.
