Just read this stat as I normally don't think of elite 8's. That's quite impressive.

Do you guys remember when you whipped UK at your place when Kentucky had Billy Clyde(his very last game at UK)? I was there, rough night. Man UK has bounced back from those dark years.

that is pretty impressive just like how our irish wbb team is on the verge of going to there fifth straight final four

Given the talent haul Cal has had, it's little more than doing what you should be expected to do. The most impressive "feat" of Cal's tenure is losing to Robert Morris while having a bundle of McDonnald's All Americans.

if you think the only thing any coach with good players has to do to win is roll the ball out there you're nuts. EVERYBODY loses games it shouldn't on paper.

Didn't say he merely had to roll out the balls.

If UK wins today it will be 4 final fours in 5 years for UK. If Digger didn't pick us I like UK's chances!

whats truly telling is that in those 6 years, Kentucky has barely had to hand out a degree to a starting basketball player. Any contributors actually attend UK for 4 years and graduate ?

If anyone can do it, why don't they? If it's so easy, why has Bill Self failed miserably with his elite recruits? Bill Self is light years above Brey as a coach.

This week started nicely , but ND fans beginning to be hostile and rude. Gonna make tonight's thrashing even sweeter.

That's cute. Lots of coaches, such as Steve Lavin, Coach K, and Bill Self, bring in loads of high level recruits and don't produce titles. It's not that easy to do. Bravo to you for trying to emphasize the outlier while ignoring the overall track record - it's what short sighted, small minded haters do.

Fire Bill Self for losing to Bucknell. Fire Coach K for losing to Lehigh. Fire Mike Brey for losing to everyone.

This is the closest ND will come to a Final Four in Breys career. All ends tonight however.

Actually we recently have two graduate in 3 years with Patrick Patterson currently in the NBA and Poythress walks this year. But pretend that didn't happen because all black kids that play at UK are thugs and don't go to class.

You are that guy that thinks its ok for only white kids to leave school early to play golf or tennis professionally, or launch a tech startup. You probably have no idea how racist you sound.

Our kids leave and begin their career path, making more money than you will ever make. Giving more money to charity than you ever will give. Look up how many black kids graduate at Wisconsin and DONT go pro.

Our kids go into their profession or stay and graduate. While here they share the ball and are outstanding individuals with 3.1 GPAs. Keep hating on our kids.

Kind of, we hear this crap all the time. But we do not have APR issues. Our kids are not allowed paper classes, Independent studies or online courses. They are followed to each class everyday on campus. Unlike others in a different shade of blue...

We have 9 McD AA we are ruining college bball, Duke does too but they are not.

Our kids dont graduate, because they enter their professions early, why doesn't Wisconsin's kids graduate, where are they going?

I get people are going to hate UK but it just gets silly sometimes, especially with such an outstanding group of kids this year.

I rooted for ND all year long, and the ACC tourney was created for you to fail being everyone else's backyard and yet you pulled it off. Congrats.

So then the answer to my original question is "No, none of the contributors to those final fours actually played four years and graduated. Got it."

Google is your friend simpleton. Harrison, Vargas, Miller off the top of my head. 2 starters and the backup center. Got it now?

He doesn't need Google cause he is a UK fan and therefore has knowledge of the team....but you could have used Google to answer your own question.

Serious question: Are you mentally retarded?

Hey army, us Irish fans can sleep at night knowing we do it the right way. You can have your championships. Just remember that greatness isn't measured in money or championships. It's measured in how you live your life. If you we're in the army then you know what im talking about.

It makes me laugh that you have to continue to post on this board about your basketball teams "impressive" stats. As I mentioned in one of your other ignorant posts, Notre Dame has never been a big time basketball program like Kentucky but you keep writing as if you think this is the case.

Kentucky has had the number 1 recruiting class 5 of that past 6 seasons according to ESPN and the other year they finished 2nd. Our program had 1 class ranked 17th 2 years back and only 2 other classes even broke into the high 30's and the others were ranked above 40 so that weren't shown, in the past 6 seasons.

Again, I said your smack talk would be the equivalent to our football team playing yours in a playoff game, winning by 1 point, and then our fans going on your board writing stupid comments boasting about the win. I would call out anyone from ND doing that as well, it just doesn't make sense to me but somehow you seem like it is the same thing.

Anyway I still say congrats to the classier Kentucky fans because they aren't tools like yourself and understand my point. I did see some people above mentioning the fact that great players don't automatically mean you are going to win... which I do agree with to a point. However I do think a lot of good coaches would have the same success, maybe even better, with the talent you guys have each year in basketball.

Well, big Army mouth hadn't returned since the game ...

Anyway, defending Calipari us dangerous.....ask Memphis and UMass

Go Navy

I'm here sweet heart. Preparing for our 17th Final Four. Hope you guys been enjoying watching the games on tv.

PS - good luck to your graduates on their upcoming $29/k a year telemarketing jobs. Our players may invite them over to one of their NBA mansions one day.
