Never been a fan of rainy games, as that hinders performance, especially in the passing game. We could be in for a slugfest similar to the last 2 home Stanford games. This may favor us, as I do think ND is better at running the ball.

Sadly the estimates of rain fall totals continue to rise :(

Last I saw was as high as 12-18 inches and flood warnings. On a related note, the stadium at Clemson is above water only due to a levy and pumping station. If that fails the water would be up to about row 26.

Hopefully the game goes on. There's no advantage for either team in a condition like this. Let the slugfest begin.

I think the 18" was down in Columbia with lesser amounts but still significant at Clemson.

Thats a boat load of water. I believe if anything, that will certainly favor ND a bit. One facet of this game that I believe Clemson can not win is a good old fashioned slugfest on the ground with ND.

I guess 8-15 range; it is not like nature has an actual line like they draw on maps; but the thing is that travel to n fro is treacherous to dangerous for certain.

JMO: based on current forecasts, playing the game is seems a disregard for public safety Three E.C. states have declared a State of Emergency. I expect S.C. to follow suit.

They could play with inter tubes...Please wait till a actual weather report. No sense in posting silly things...be serious and correct with your facts,,,,like me....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the game doesn't get moved to sunday but safety first I guess. if It does would abc still do the game or espn and would it be a day game instead

I live an hour or so north of Clemson.

Welcome to the Western North/South Carolina Rainforest.....................

Maybe we could change the game from football to water polo. Both tough sports. Both would be evenly matched since neither has a team right now.

Elements are part of the game. Sucks or helps both teams.
From a safety perspective...wth, they aren't going to drown. I mean I suppose if any players can't swim maybe they should stay up on the entrance hill. LOL.

Stretch good and go play.

thing that may not be in ND favor, but will def help ND is that that much rain will totally kill the buzz on campus. They havent played in 16 days, gameday is there and its under the lights. A clear night and that place would be insane. Having gone to games in the rain they can be fun if your team is ahead, but if it rains all day, the mood def wont be the same.
