Notre Dame just picked up the 18th commitment of its 2024 recruiting class.
2024 four-star running back Kedren Young verbally committed to the Irish Monday evening. He took his official visit to Notre Dame this past weekend.
The Lufkin (Tex.) High product reported 26 offers and chose the Irish over Texas Tech and Texas A&M, two schools he had previously set up official visits with later this month.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound recruit is ranked as the No. 16 running back in the 2024 class. He joins 2024 running back Anyeas Williams in Notre Dame's backfield haul in its 2024 class.
With Young's addition, Notre Dame passes Michigan and sits in the No. 2 spot in the 2024 recruiting team rankings.
