This isn’t a “I told you so” thread but more of an appreciation of ND’s talent evaluation and player development thread after the back & forth on here after ND’s 2019 class.
Many were NOT happy with the class, especially since they signed while ND was about to play in the CFP.
I distinctly remember people being mad about ND losing out on that Turner kid to Washington while Foskey was publicly announcing in February that nobody seemed to be excited about?
These kids are mostly RsFreshmen and a true Sophomore and look at them already on the 2nd ranked team:
Kyle Hamilton
Kyren Williams
Isiah Foskey
Jack Kiser
Marist Liufau
Jay Bramlett
Andrew Kristofic
Zeke Correll
Quinn Carroll
Jacob Lacey
Howard Cross
I didn’t even list Rutherford, Wallace and Hart who have all played this year too. (Clark, Osita, KAR, Nana, Spears TBD...
(Hamilton, Foskey, Williams and probably two of the OL will be early Round Picks.
The 2019 class didn’t look great on paper but they are performing on the field like a top 5 class.
