Below are the rankings for the top pro-style QB recruits in 2016. In a way this shows all the dominoes that had to fall for Book to be QB1 at ND. It also shows what an inexact science ranking QBs out of high school is.

ND missed on top recruits like Eason, Malik Henry, Haskins and maybe a few others. Mike Sanford was recruiting Book at Boise St, gets hired by ND and then flips Book from Wazzu.
