#2 ranked irish vs #19 ranked Marquette game thread

our irish wbb team are at Marquette today to take on the 19th ranked team. don't know anything about the home squad other than they are ranked and road games can always be a challenge. Arike gets to play at home in front of family and friends. love how coach McGraw schedules one home game or game near home for each player. game comes on at 1:30 today on FS1

a very impressive road win for our irish today. one more game before conference play begins. Arike tied her career high with 32 pts in front of 100 or so family and friends according to the anouncers

A few years ago there was a player from Atlanta whose first name was Frederica. Nobody in Atlanta would play us so Muffet scheduled a game at Mercer in Macon. Put her in the starting lineup that night. It's a very nice thing she does for the kids. Due to what my wife believed was an amazing coincidence, we were passing through Macon on the ride home from the Champs Bowl game against FSU, just before the bball game. Took a two hour break from driving and rooted on the girls.
