#1 QB prospect in '25 class offered $10.5M to flip from LSU to Michigan

It’s whatever fits his narrative.

I’d say that Chase is beyond stupid but that’s just scratching the surface.
The fact that anyone directly responds to Chaseball is what confuses me.

Always has.

As far as I am concerned, there are 4 elite players on D who are injured right now. It's unfortunate not a recruiting issue. On offense we lost an elite lineman b4 the season even started. Freeman has done a nice job recruiting. Just bad luck. There is a lot of competition for players and a lot of money being thrown around. Not an exact science.

There are times when he posts decent stuff.

Then times when is clearly just trying to piss people off.
Bro, I call balls and strikes as I see them. I don't intentionally post anything to piss anybody off. If people are getting pissed off with my posts its because they are pissed off at reality with where ND currently stands in the hierarchy of college football right now. And so am I. There's NOTHING OF VALUE to be had playing 2nd fiddle to teams actually winning shit (accolades, championship trophies, heisman trophies) in college football.

MF is doing a great job when you consider all of the injuries on the roster and this is something that is easy to overlook. But outside of BenMo i wouldn't call any of those other guys "elite"

When I use the term "elite" im talking about the games biggest stars. 5-star prospects (like the one mentioned in the OP of this thread), future 1st round NFL picks, heisman trophy candidates, consensus all americans, etc.

Like what Jagusah and Traore can be. I agree

You think ND is prepared to pay 8 figure signing bonuses to #1 prospects at their position out of HS ? I don't even think they do 6 figures to HS prospects.
When they do, they will lose 80% of those of us that support them...I'll watch KC and Buffalo is I want to watch overpaid athletes play...

Looked at in another way: fans want better QB play, better quick strike playmaking in the passing game, etc.

the #1 QB prospect out of HS is being offered $10.5M ... this is what better QB play costs...is ND going to adapt and pay up or still live by antiquated principles that keep them playing 2nd fiddle to the real contenders for national titles every year?
2nd fiddle...

Fans have been saying the same thing for years while ND makes concession after concession on their "ideals" its just bad leadership they wait until everybody else is doing it and its politically correct and there's no longer any advantage.

There was a time when there was a boycott of pro baseball once they started getting paid .. now the sport is bigger and more profitable 100 years later than ever.

edit: grammar/clarity of point

Apples and oranges...don't conflate athletic revenue with salaries...

If you are going to pay players, make them pros...organize/unionize them, stop making them go to class and call it what it is: South Bend Fighting Irish versus Charlottesville Cavaliers...

He might want to go to Michigan without the cash after watching big game BK twerk his way to another embarrassing loss to a bad Florida team!
Or maybe UM DIDN'T MATCH LSU'S OFFER.

Does anyone know what he got to go to LSU?

Or maybe he just likes GUMBO.

At the end of the day - Underwood has a little change in his pocket and is attending college 20 minutes from home.

relative to the mid tier junk in the ACC and the bottom feeding G5 -- ND is full of college hall of famers

relative to the first tier of teams that are gatekeepers for national titles -- ND is the ACC mid tier junk
Mid tier ACC junk is whooping tier 1 sec

The SEC is 10-5 in interconference games vs the p4 this season-- way out in front of everybody like usual (and even more dominant than that when you expand to the past 5, 10, 15, 20 years).

The SEC also dominates the top 25 in college football in just about every ranking system out there.

But in your mind the entire conferences reputation hinges on this Georgia Tech halftime lead over Georgia though

Is that it ??

With how bad you say these other conference are you would think they would be 15 and 0

And it shouldn't even be possible for Georgia to be losing to Gt. What is the F+difference in this game?

Yeah, that's a fair point. The SEC will remain the nation's best conference regardless of this result. But they might not get that many bids for the big playoff, if they keep losing like this. I know it's harder, but you can't be going 9-3 and getting into the field over 11-1 teams. The final 12 is going to be crazy. Because at this rate I don't even know how many SEC teams are even going to make it.

Everybody else playing something similar to the Shamrock Series in NFL stadiums all across the nation? ND is 10-1, ranked #5, and on pace for a home playoff game.... all while being ranked #1 in the GSR. Take a lap bro and contemplate if you're pulling for the right team. Plenty of room on the LSU train with Conductor Big Game Brian and their up up and away trajectory!
