1 month ago I said ND is not a playoff team. Today they are!!!

ACC teams - Clemson, UNC, FSU, UL, NCST all played at least on FCS. Wake and Pitt both played two as did Miami.

Big12 - Most of them play one FCS team.

PAC12- More then half of the teams again.

SEC - I believe every single on has a FCS team on their schedule.

B1G - just a few

for note : ND, USC, UM, OSU, and UT have all made pledges to play P5 or G5 teams and no current FCS teams.

No one hardly ever plays FCS teams anymore. Big ten plays 12 game schedule, 9 big ten teams, 1 or 2 home and homes, and maybe a G5 team or 2. That’s more P5 teams than ND.
Wrong.
Except for half the BIG10, ND and USC, most of the other conferences played one patsy from the FCS. Georgia played Charleston Southern, Bama played Mercer, Cincinnati played Murray State, and Okie State played Missouri State. 4 of the top 6, and 3 of the 4 likely playoff teams played an FCS school.

Chill out. Fine many schools do not still play FCS teams.... You said all of the other schools play them and I proved you wrong. I mentioned big ten teams. Michigan and iowa (the teams playing today from the original post I responded to) didnt. You spend more time fact checking others generalization than your own sweeping comment. And to the guy who pointed out people play multiple FCS teams up until they had to open the schedules last year due to covid because of cancellations schools were only allowed to play 1 FCS to remain bowl eligible.

Thanks for being rational, I overstated it. I honestly know the big ten scheduling better and knew they had mostly gotten rid of FCS games. But honestly is having a MAC team like Toledo on NDs schedule really much of an enhancement over an FCS team? There are FCS teams rated higher than them in the computer ratings.

Michigan
Cincinnati
Bama

One of them will lose today and Notre Dame will be in the playoffs.

When that happens, look out world! This is not the same team that lost to Cincinnati.
Don't fool yourself self. The selection committee will put the Bulldogs in the fourth spot
