Still trying to get in touch with four-star Washington CB Kyler Gordon, but wanted to pass along a small note I picked up.
As most of you know, Gordon's parents did not join him on this trip, although his mom did come with him on his official visit, and from what I can tell, is very much sold on Notre Dame.
However, Gordon coming to South Bend solo shouldn't be any reason to worry. Here's what I was told.
"It’s time for him to go and hang out with the boys and get some more bonding time.......and for him to get any additional clarity he is seeking."
Again, still trying to get in touch with Gordon, but he rarely gives interviews anymore. I sill like ND's chances here.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Talked to another source on this, and it sounds like things went really with Gordon as far as spending time with the current commits and bonding with them. Gordon is a quiet kid, no question, but we were told he was really interacting with the current commits well, and they treated him like he was alreyady part of the class. Really like where ND stands here.
