09.09.17 Notre Dame stadium will be a sea of...

I'm not sure if ND fans sell to see BK fail or to turn a profit. Someone tell me why I should not be concerned that ND fans are going to sell in large numbers. Some of them are contributors on this board. Some are reading this thread. All of them are laughing at the money they will make. I think Jack needs to nip this in the bud now because if he doesn't see this coming, then he isn't trying very hard. Fans will claim they sold for face with no way to prove otherwise. But, it should be zero tolerance to sell to opposing fans period. They have their allotment. The eye in the sky has the ability to zero in on individual seats. Whether Jack has to will to do anything is another question. Maybe I'm just over reacting. Who knows.

I have to disagree with this. I have friends that have attended other schools that are thrilled to get a chance to see a game at ND. So, on occasion I have sold tickets to friends (as opposed to strangers) and never for anything more than face value. These same friends have reciprocated by getting me tickets when ND has played at their stadiums.

First of all, I will be at the game and will not be selling my tickets. As a Georgian, I have been waiting 30 plus years for this game. But the reality is that these types of games are a much bigger deal to a school like Georgia than it is for us. In the last 40 years just about every major program has set foot in South Bend, and we have played at their place. We play these types of games all the time, all over the country. Georgia has played a handful of non-con home and homes over the years (Okie State, Colorado, Arizona State, Clemson come to mind), but you don't see any Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Texas, Penn State, Nebraska, or FSU types on the list because they have just not played those types of series. They were supposed to play Oregon home and home a few years ago, but cancelled it. Every year its 8 SEC games, Georgia Tech, two patsies, and sometimes one other decent team, maybe one other patsy, depending on the year. So if you're wondering why Georgia fans are going to be paying exorbitant prices for this game, and why ND fans will oblige them by accepting those exorbitant prices for their tickets, that's why. And it WON'T happen in Athens in 2019, for the same reason, it's not as big a deal to us as it is for them. Domers aren't going to pay $500 to see a football game that's not the BCSCG.

I was at the VA Tech game last fall -- they seemed to be everywhere and were very loud -- that should never happen in ND stadium, regardless of the opponent.
that was late in the season.. the damage was already done. This will be game 2 . ND fans will be on their game.
