You’re confusing GT streak with ND defense. We haven’t allowed a TD in that long. GT scored 30 last week and the week before.

I was one of those doubters but, the D has definitely been playing and tackling better in the second half of the season. I probably got a little thrown off early when Cincy still had a dominating D minus Freeman and ND had to win in shootouts. This is, for sure, the best time of the year to be playing your best football - Go Irish!

Word leaking out of Columbus in the last 4 or 5 days is that Day will be getting rid of 2 or 3 defensive coaches - as expected -and might be coming hard after OSU alum Freeman as their DC. Stay tuned

Good game plans, but we aren't really "peaking" just playing lower competition with back up qbs. The best teams will still expose the secondary and the o line.
