I can see it now, ND tires of Freeman, Bama is, well, Bama and wins a bunch of games and the new ND administration goes and hires TR.

Maybe but how about he proves his ability elsewhere as a HC first?

I really would like for Freeman to take a look at the NC State defensive coordinator and then let that guy run his system. Just manage the program, recruit, and gameday decisions.

I don’t want that, I’m saying I can see that happening at ND. I think they’re that foolish to pull something like that.

If Freeman doesn’t work out, I find it highly unlikely the AD will hire another head coach without previous head coaching experience.
