And no high school kid is making 8 figures so you can abandon that notion.

SCOTUS validated NIL and that’s a huge problem which is compounded exponentially by the NCAA’s idiotic removal of the one year buffer for transferring.

The transfer rule is here to stay. Unfortunately that won't be rescinded.

Hmmm. NFL might learn from soccer with youth academies. These outcompete all models, especially those with an academic path.

Soccer academies also make huge $$$ selling players for transfer fees. Another incentive. Complementing an arms race to produce the best young players.

Never say never. This setup would relegate football to be like soccer in college: interesting only to the players, students, and sone alumni.

Soccer by the way has a transfer window. January. And historically it’s sparing, as stability is important. Really holds for any team sport, including football.

Team sport, as in a “team”…right?

Notre Dame has an opportunity to combine NIL, transfer portal, academic accommodation, and brand…to rebrand as a stable team with all the aforementioned, returning to glory.

A lot of colleges are going to screw this up. Being too volatile and ruining team chemistry. The ones who master all this will be more dominant than ever. At least of college football stays this course,..and no NFL semipro emerges.

You obviously know nothing about the revenue sharing aspect in the NFL CBA with the player’s association.
