We all know that Romeo O. wasnt ready to play as a freshman and to this day I feel it stunted his growth as a football player. Now look at the career he has had an ND...a little underwhelming when there was such high praise of him once he stepped on campus. Even last year he lost his starting job to Trumbetti, YET his brother who is a better prospect coming out of high school chooses ND after having the deal sealed after his extended stay. No sour grapes, no bad mouthing of coaches (so it seems) on Romeo part and ND lands a nice prospect. So this tell me that even though it is in South Bend, horrible weather, not a college town that ND is a great school where kids actually enjoy their time there even with the misconceptions that are out there.
P.S. I saw the Sampson today and spoke to him briefly.
