"In reality I always knew TCU was a great fit, but I was eager to get out to a South Bend to see if I could change the precedent of the wideout room there and be something that University has never had before," he said. "The changing of our strength coach and OC hindered my development and I wasn’t able to grow at the rate I needed to.”

Refreshing to hear an actual insider confirming what some suspected!

Something the University has never had before, did get a chuckle out of that.

This is funny.

Blame everyone else.

“Be something that the University has never had before”? Yeah……Notre Dame has never had an elite, one in a billion student athlete like Braylon James before. How will we ever recover?

What a clown.

Parker may very well need to go but with a stupid statement like that I’m glad James bailed.
Why is it stupid?

He didn’t say Parker sucked, his comment was pretty vanilla, he didn’t think losing Balis was good, and everyone on here agreed. He thought the OC (Parker) hindered his and the WR rooms development, we had four WRs leave the program, we saw poor WR play for long stretches this season, it would seem he was speaking accurately IMO.

Had a Heisman winner in 87 from the wr room and at least a few NFL receivers since. He may be a great athlete but I highly doubt he becomes something Notre Dame has never had before. Kids being kids. Telling he had nothing to say about his position coach. I figured most of the development occured under their watch.

Typical modern day player, blame everyone else. Kids a joke. A little maturity problem I see. Somebody should sit him down and show him some Tim Brown highlights or Golden Tate, Michael Floyd, The Shark. Cry baby. Good riddance

That’s why RKG will always take precedence over Star ratings, Just ask Jimbo Fisher. WRs are always the problem children on every football team. Good riddance to Brandon “Chardonnay” James and his “wine” ing

Yawn.

Ummm.... Tim Brown, Rocket, Michael Floyd, Will Fuller, Golden Tate, Jeff Smardzija, Chase Claypool, Derrick Mayes, Ricky Watters...and that is just since 80s "modern" football. Bye Braylon..you obviously don't know much about ND football.

LMFAO.

Braylon James could not carry Rocket's jock.

Or Michael Floyd.
Or Tim Brown.
Or Will Fuller.
Or Ricky Watters.
Or Shark.
Or Derrick Mayes.
Or Ricky Watters.
Or Golden Tate.
Or Chase Claypool.

Again. LMFAO.

James and Flores are both tied to Stuckey. Stuckey supposedly did something and was fired for it, they decided to leave also. ND picked up 2 better veteran WR's in the portal and have 3 more coming in.
Those who left will not be missed.
Won't be missed at all.

Love it when we post something from a player that was as much sizzle, no steak as Chassball

Doesn't anyone find it funny that we fans build these kids up to be super heroes, including having them suit up in an ND uniform and strike a pose for Instagram before they have proven anything? Then when they buy into the hype and say immature things, we bash them like they should know better. Then we begin the hero worshipping of the next guy we just have to have.

I kind of like how it was when I was a student. The Observer would print an article about what athletes had signed on with maybe a paragraph devoted to each of the top prospects. You didn't really know what you'd get. You just figured there would be enough to continue fielding a decent team.

This is sanctimonious bullshit.

HDK, the internet and social media have changed many things, and not all for the better.

Personally, I didn't have much problem with the quote from Braylon James. He was talking to a writer on a TCU fan site, so of course he wanted to talk up his transfer there. His time at ND didn't work out as he had hoped. No big deal. I wish him well. Kids were probably saying the same things 50 years ago, but you didn't have social media sites reporting about every time a kid farted. But those are the times we live in now, and we ain't going back.

He actually said something that a lot of posters have said... Losing Ballis hurt and Parker was a disappointment, now the same people who have been saying that on these sites are bashing a kid for saying it...

Meanwhile, Riley Leonard, Beaux Collins, and RJ Oben all say hi.

I do believe there is major disconnect in the offense is it Parker or is it Freeman wanting to be conservative.

Between he and Tobias who was actively reaching out to Washington during the season, it sounds like this years team had some real douchebags. Later fellas
