Would love to wipe that arrogant smile off Calipari's face

Don't kid yourself Coach Cal is nervous and knows his big guys aren't getting it done

I am not a coach Cal fan, but the Kentucky kids seem like a classy group. Love to see Irish win, but if not in the cards, would be ok if Ky goes 40-0.

I thought Kentucky's coaches and players were all class before and after the game. It was a good game, they just out played us when it counted. They will be national champions.

I don't like him either but he isn't as bad though as coach geno of the UConn wbb team. never saw a coach be more hateful in his comments than him when his UConn wbb team lost a string of games to our irish wbb team a few years back just before we left they left for the acc

I don't understand the butthurt over his comments. I guess coaches should just lie, lord knows we love the liars in the business. He said ND played great, although I've seen them play much better. He said UK played poorly, which they did until the last ten minutes. He praised ND before the game, after the game in the presser, good lord, what is he supposed to do?

people don't hate him so much for his comments last night but hate him for him more for helping make the one and done thing so popular

Gino Oriemma is a dude coaching girls college BB ... hard to take him too seriously even if he takes himself too seriously - UConn is good, but not many people really care

When Cal first got to UK and recruited Wall, Cousins, et al., all the talking heads said, "You'll win lots of games. But, you can't win championships with freshmen. No matter how talented they are."

That first class made it to a regional final. The next made it to the championship game. The third won the championship. Then all bets were off. Coaches K and Self (along with every other coach) started trying the same thing.

The one and done (OAD) thing is mostly myth fed by the media. Last year, out of 351 Div 1 programs, NINE scholarship freshmen were drafted into the NBA...about one percent of all scholarship freshmen. A few others squandered their eligibility by declaring and not getting drafted. Then went to Europe or Asia to play. No matter how many kids think that they'll be NBA ready with only another year of preparation, the truth is the vast majority of AOD's need 2 - 3 years to get "NBA ready".

After listening to ALL the elite 8 Coaches interviews after winning or losing it was confirmed in my mind, Calapari is an undefeated loser. used Car salesman who hasn't been caught yet. With a superior roster in talent got out coached badly. His talent bailed him out again.
