Getting to the game, we had a chance with 6-7 minutes left to beat that team on that stage in their house. We played our azz off. No one gave us a chance. No one except us. Marcus Freeman gets an A+ from me. His team was prepared and played for their coach. He was energetic, congratulatory, and showed emotions that one bk does not have. He fired up his team and in turn I was fired up. He is a leader, a guy that players want to play for. The only difference between us and that school we played last night were the skill positions. And those guys will be coming, in droves (maybe Mr. Moore wants to re-think his commitment to Oregon).
I was so proud of everyone involved last night from Notre Dame. We have a lot of work to do, but I can’t wait to see this football team and coaching staff get better every week. Roll Irish!
