Our boy Landon Slaggert didn't play a ton -- no shots on goal, managed to get a minus-1 on the night. Thought he might get an energy shift when we crapped the bed in the second period. IIHF doesn't keep time on ice stats.
Overall, a lousy effort from the US. No energy, poor decision-making, lots of guys trying to make pretty plays, power play stunk, we were terrible on faceoffs, and Spencer Knight was garbage.
