The team definitely looked the part of a contender today, winning 102-58 on the road at Purdue.

Hidalgo: Elite defender and should be an elite scorer too as long as she and Miles keep getting more in sync.

Miles: Great leader. I can't tell if she is still a half step slower than before her injury or if she's just so in control of her game that she makes it look easy. Better competition will tell.

Koval: Looks a bit tentative, but she has all the tools we need in the paint. Should improve greatly as her freshman year progresses.

All the others looked really confident in their roles. First big test of the year is 11/23 @ USC (#3). Go Irish!

The PiTT Transfer King looked REALLY good as well. Miles said she needed to work on her stamina. This is looking like a real final four team and we still have an injured one left if I remember correctly to return.

They looked great!! I can't wait to see them when they are at full strength. They are going to be scary. Hannah and Olivia are one of the best guard duos in the nation - for sure. I don't recall a player (guard) in women's basketball that just intimidates the other player like she (Hannah) does, defensively. Liatu King is that Swiss Army knife and the freshman Koval can dominate below and can shoot the three. We haven't had a player (big) like her since Ruth Riley. I am loving it!!!
