If Malik Zaire gets him the ball ! I hope they are working together on timing all summer !!

Golden Tate is going to wonder what could have been if he had the talent around him that Will Fuller has now!!

Notre Dame is going to blow most teams out of the water this year ! And lose to NOONE !!

I also think he'll have another big year but he and the other wrs have to step it up this year against usc as they pretty much got taken away or were limited in there catches by the usc dbs last season in our game against them. can you guys imagine how even more sick the rocket would've been if we ran a Kelly style offense back in the late eighties vs just mainly running the ball

Cool ~ watch the game again. The ND WRs suffered from more dropped passes than anything else. I recall a particular drive where Malik drilled Fuller and Robinson on back to back passes only for them to drop it. Those things were drive killers!

For ND to be successful they need to mix the run/pass effectively and not become "pass happy"!

If Zaire runs the read option and becomes more of a threat running that will surely open up the passing game. Tony Rice was anything but a pure passer. However, the style of football Holtz played enabled Rice to become an effective passer when needed. I think Rice holds the most yards per completion in ND history. Not because he was a great passer, rather his ability to run the option allowed for big plays in the passing game. I think Zaire can potentially do the same thing albeit in a different offense. ND has all the weapons to score a ton of points this year. Zaire is the engine that can make it go. Kelly has to be happy because for the first time in his tenure he has experience all over this offense. Zaire is the question mark. Even though he hasn't played hardly at all, he had been working in Kelly's system for two full years. That is a huge difference from when Golson took over as a freshman. We will see how this plays out. For me. I can't wait to see this years team. I think they are going to turn a lot of heads this year.
