Will Black got a fifth star..

When did this occur, I admit, I haven’t followed recruiting as closely this year as years past. With the NIL and all these young men switching commitments left and right I kind of gave up on it.

Anyways, Will Black is a huge kid, hopefully another 1st rounder off of the ND OL.

He's up to number 35 in the 247 composite in 2025. He's a composite 4.5 star at this point knocking on the door of being a composite five-star player.

I remember back when he committed he was in the 100s I believe overall. Notre Dame's done a good job identifying lower ranked players early that seem to grow in their prospect profile over the recruiting cycle. Bryant Young was one of those guys last season and there were a few others as well

It's too bad he is not an early enrollee. I don't think we will need him to start in 2025 but while he has the physical tools as a hockey playing Canadian he likely has fewer Football snaps than most kids his age.

Lower than that. Another player we argued over. You believed the rankings. I said they were ridiculous and he's one of the best OL in the country
