MSU, O.K. UM, no. ND gets nothing from playing UM. Their prestige is raised while ND's is lowered or at best it remains unchanged. ND gets more from playing Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, etc...
It was meant to be hilarious. I really don't care one way or the other. But I figured this would bring some of the UM trolls out to play.Hahahaha!!! Hilarious.
why ? is harbaugh the second coming ? i think he's a very good coach but hardly head and shoulders above kelly. nothing in his college resume even remotely suggests it. bowl success ? a nice win over the sec minor league division winner ? the current playoff system has rendered all other bowl games insignificant. if you don't make the playoff nothing else matters anymore. give me a break. i'd rather play for a national championship and lose than beat a 2nd tier sec team in a meaningless bowl game. at least that game meant something.a few observations: 1) nice to see the near-daily post about UM on your board. Pretty interesting that your collective obsession continues when one considers that these teams no longer play each other, 2) who wrote that article anyway, a third grader?, 3) why would any fan of a team coached by Brian KeLLLy want to play a team coached by Jim Harbaugh? Of course ND shouldn't play Michigan. It's for precisely the same reason that nearly every Michigan fan thinks UM should play ND, 4) ND does not have a more recent national title nor does it have a more recent Heisman trophy winner than UM. Talk about living in the past. lol Looking forward, anyone wanna bet on which team gets a NC, a CFB playoff invite or a Heisman winner first? DM me if you do, and 5) let's not talk about meritocracy and comparing eras. It's frankly not possible. When speaking of national relevancy, all one has to do is look at recent bowl success and head to head competition. As compared to ND, it's UM all the way. One day, the Irish will win a January 1st (or better) bowl game. Strike up the conversation when you do. Until then Shut The Front Door! Oh, and one more thing: Brady > Montana...frankly, it's not even close and Brady still has a few years left in him.

If any game is to played every year against the Irish it should be ko Michigan and Michigan StI enjoy the ND / Mich. game. Just don't think it should be yearly. Maybe have a 'B1G' spot in the schedule and switch off playing Mich, MSU, PSU, Ohio State, Purdue
Zero for Bo and 31-0 !!!! APPY STATE!
38-0 x 2 and 47-21!!! ND's last NC was…..zzzzz. Last Jan 1 bowl win for ND….zzzzz. Last Heisman for ND….zzzzz. ND is so far behind on the gridiron at this point…it is literally by leaps and bounds.
ZERO FOR BO the Michigan Legend. 31-0 + Appy State + Bowling Green. Too Funny.38-0 x 2 and 47-21!!! ND's last NC was…..zzzzz. Last Jan 1 bowl win for ND….zzzzz. Last Heisman for ND….zzzzz. ND is so far behind on the gridiron at this point…it is literally by leaps and bounds.
I'm sorry, what was the score when we last played? A complete injury depleted ND played Ohio State WAAAAY better then you chumps did at home. You only won three bowls in the last ten years so I don't know what you're beating your chest about.38-0 x 2 and 47-21!!! ND's last NC was…..zzzzz. Last Jan 1 bowl win for ND….zzzzz.
