Released? There's no reason to release him. There's one game to go until he's a free agent. He's ruled inactive for the game he will probably be released.
I'm a big Pats fan who lives in the area and it's very simple. He was brought in to supply depth at the position because Amendola, Mitchell, and Hogan were a bit nicked up or out at the time of Floyd's release. Now that those three guys are back healthy and all playing there is simply no room for Floyd on the roster. He will most likely be inactive for the SB as well as long as Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, and Mitchell are all healthy.
Will they sign him in the off season? Maybe but I doubt it. Signing him was simply out of need at the position. He played vs Houston in the Divisional round because Mitchell was still out with an injury. He came back so Floyd took a seat.
Why some people have to act like jerks is beyond me. Maybe you should take your own advise.Released? There's no reason to release him. There's one game to go until he's a free agent.
Jerk? Because I point out someone being inaccurate? You're like the Hillary cry babies. Why some people have to act like jerks is beyond me. Maybe you should take your own advise.

I believe they will offer him a deal after the season but not close to what he is currently making.I'm a big Pats fan who lives in the area and it's very simple.
