Does anyone find this shocking? What's next...Obama is going to get a nobel peace prize? ;)

LOL at “believe this is...appropriate”; who decides what’s “appropriate” at a university that hosts thousands of events on campus each year that range from everything to anything concerning a broad range of topics, ideologies, etc.? There can’t be more than a handful of posters here who actually attended the university, saw what went on campus.

Sorry I keep mixing up the Church with the Academia.

A) this is not an 'attended ND message board"
It a football board first which has been a part of so many millions of Americans throughout their lives who have never attended Notre Dame, but propped up the football program which propped up the University.
Now granted there has been a lot of political post as of late, but regardless anyone can join in

B) if it wasn't for the so-called sub alumni Notre Dame football would be in the ivy league.

My question to you was just a simple one as someone who didn't ND University to someone who did attend the University
It was an honest question and one not to poke you in the eye
It seems you are coming into this conversation with a chip on your shoulder by what you stated earlier in regards to how many conservatives were here.
It's a shame you've taken this approach.

I guess honoring a lying, tax cheating, separatist preaching race-baiting, racist is something worth honoring in the name of fairness to those who committed those acts................ EXCELLENT.!

While I may be in a minority I think all ND sports boards should have a section for open discussion about politics, religion or any other topics. This is in the spirit of the University being a place the exchange ideas.
