What The Media Didn't Show You On Memorial Day

Yes, it almost seems like the Dems and the mainstream media are in collusion to bring about a peaceful coup, and ignore any positive while harping non stop on negatives, perceived and real. Trump's antics and stupid tweets provide great targets, yet the barrage of NEWS reports based on unfounded or unsubstantiated leaks and accusations should make every American worried about our democracy which needs an inquisitive skeptical and FAIR and OBJECTIVE press.

That is a nice feel-good photo op and all, but not what I would call front page news for ANY president.

Trump could find the cure for cancer and you'd call him the devil because of jobs lost in the medical field.

It was for Obama! They had every feel good moment on film and in the print. That's the way it was. Liberals have short memories unless they are thinking of themselves.

I wouldn't equate meeting with vets &/or their families on Memorial Day as some sort of special accomplishment. It is standard fare for every politician in the country.

Pennick is off on recent history! Speaking as a Vet and following the Vet situation rather close I have to agree that speaking to Vets has been an every year event for Bush and Trump, however it was a no show for Obama.

Actually, that is not true. Obama only missed one trip to Arlington. (Like Bush and others.)

President Ronald Reagan was away from Arlington on Memorial Day on four occasions during his eight years in office.

  • Bill Clinton was the only U.S. President in the last 30+ years to have attended Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington every year throughout his term of office.
Here are the facts backed up by photos and speeches:

And here is a speech that President Obama made last year to honor :
