I for one feel like Lou seems to bring quite a bit to the table, but at the same time the content and board seem to be severely lacking in recent months.

I know it's offseason for the football program, but there is a reason that Irish Illustrated seemed to be far and away the best site in previous years, and that was due to user participation on the boards and with one another in real life.

I am friends with a few people from the site, but the usual checking in every morning to see whats new doesn't seem to happen anymore. Now I log in, and see all the ban stuff going on, and just wonder what everyone is getting out of the site anymore.

MODS how about you guys? What was it like at BGI before joining yahoo and rivals? Only reason I even kept my rivals acct open was because of the content on the boards, because lets face it all of the sites have the same info within an hour of one another. So the speculation, banter, and camaraderie are what have kept my dollars here. In real life, I am a friend of Steve Wiltfong at 247, and wont join there because their boards are dead.
