What are the real reasons why Golson transferred?

I know trying to figure out the thinking behind 18 to 22 year olds is hard to do at times. However, I assume Golson evaluated objectives and desires on what he was looking for in his final season and ND did not meet these. Why does he think there is a better opportunity at some other school to achieve his objectives?

• Is it wanting to have 100% of the playing time?
• Was it wanting to win a championship (which implies he doesn't think this team is capable of that)?
• Will he not be accepted into a grad program at ND? If so, then this makes total sense.
• Did he have a falling out with the coaching staff?
• Other thoughts?

From my perspective, it makes very little sense that a startling QB who had a great spring would leave at this point in time. Maybe we will never know what the decision process was that he went through, but I though it is worth asking and discussing.
