In one game situations in basketball against very good competition, nothing surprises me. These aren't 7 game series. The elite 8 game, IMO, will not be easy. Teams 5, 6, 7, 8 can all play.
Anything can happen when you are playing in the Final Four but if they play their best they are the best team in the country.
The amount of firepower they have is amazing. As an opposing coach trying to set up a defense, who do you try to stop? Hidalgo? Miles? Citron? Westbeld? King? Koval? Karlen? Prosper? ... so many scoring possibilities. And they all hustle.
Watching today's game noticed this ... Hidalgo went for a drive ... scored ... was sent sprawling on the floor (no foul) ... yet Hidalgo was back on the defense side of the court before many of her teammates and Cal players were. Pure hustle.

They are damn fun to watch. Thought their defense today was outstanding. Talk about a TEAM win. Really a well balanced team that can compensate for when one of their starters has an off night. But as we know, they are beatable; and the tourney is famous for its upsets and Cinderella stories. But I like our chances!
