Very entertaining 1 qrt. NC State came to play and we took their best punch. Love the way Cintron and Hannah are playing. Miles and Wesbeld need to get going. Go Irish!!

Miles picked it up in 2nd Hannah got too out of control. NC State is playing great. ND down 4 at halftime. Got to suck it up and clamp down on defense and move the ball on offense. Too much hero ball in the 2nd qrt.
Lots of missed layups….brick shooting….Cement shoe jumping getting blocked……better clean it up 2 nd half.
Come on refs 2 tough calls on solid defensive plays by ND led to 4 free throws. Dont let the home crowd influence your calls.
Sick of the NC State coach crying to refs if anyone should be bitching its us. Hannah got clearly fouled and no call.
Agree Miles has been too cute with ball and 0-9 from 3 in 2nd half 4-20 for game.
Wasnt reason. Couldnt hit a 3 today and NC State played a great game. Sometimes losses are a blessing. Learn from this and get better.
NC State wanted that game more than ND. You could see it. They were hungry. The lady Irish looked hesitant out there today. Hard to explain. NC State looked fluid and loose while ND looked timid and unsure. It will be interesting to see how they move forward from here. Hopefully they can use this loss as motivation. We shall see
ND's guards were outplayed by the NC St. guards, and Notre Dame has zero big presence in the post. NC State's freshman center scored big, while heralded coming out of HS Kate Koval doesn't play much.

Well, as a freshman, she is definitely off to a deliberate start in college. She plays sparingly in big moments.
Hard to say for sure. That said they played poorly on the road against a good team and still went to double OT. From a coaching standpoint games like that can prove to be very beneficial going forward. They're still the team to beat.

No one. The 6-6 freshman center for NC State had 19 today, played well, and she was a tough matchup.

I've been saying this for the past few games. Hidalgo's shooting isn't what it was earlier in the season, shots just aren't dropping. ND commits too many TOs at the wrong time, misses too many layups and close in shots. This wasn't the case earlier in the season (maybe in there Cayman Island outing yes)). The coaches and ladies are going to have to clean things up and get back on track.

If any of your garbage was true it would have cost them games before now
They got a little lazy and swell headed with all the success and now being #1 and this was a wake up call

NC State is a very talented team and they were on it that game.

at the very top of any league the talent level is going to be close. if your team is not on it on any given game you will lose when up against such a team.
