Top seed Notre Dame will get its ACC Tournament started today at 2 p.m. EST against No. 8 seed NC State. The Wolfpack (20-10) cruised to an 83-58 victory over No. 9 seed Syracuse yesterday.

The Irish (24-4) will be without star guard Olivia Miles (knee) in against NC State and potentially for the rest of the tournament in Greensboro, N.C. The Notre Dame-NC State winner will play against No. 4 seed Louisville on Saturday.

NC State is one of only four teams to beat Notre Dame this season. The Wolfpack won at home by a 69-65 margin as the Irish played without center Lauren Ebo. Maddy Westbeld scored 19 and Olivia Miles added 13 in the loss.

The Irish struggled to defend guard Diamond Johnson (20 points) and forward Mimi Collins (13) and lost despite an 11-rebound advantage. Johnson missed the last three regular season games with an ankle injury and won't play in the ACC Tournament.
