Maybe it's because we don't play any FCS schools, and very few cupcake schools?
Do me a favor go to cfb stats. Click on teams. Go to Notre Dame. Scroll down look at the some of those teams we beat by 1 score! Its very simple all you have to do is scroll up and change the year. It will change your life. Also look at all the L's you will see to the good teams, well top 25 would'nt consider 2010 Tulsa good. Oh how that laid the foundation!
