They dont have.
Its coaching. A coach who knows how to maximize what talents they do have. I saw the same thing in the WF offense.
I knew Miami was fraudulent. They just played sky high with an enormous chip on their shoulder. Last week was a "perfect storm" if you will. Now that they are getting touted as an elite team, they come out flat and unable to live up to the hype.
This is closer to who they are as they have been horsing around with mediocre teams much of the year.
Now, it'll be interesting to see how our boys emotionally respond this afternoon. It's really difficult to predict that.

Sounds like ND against Miami. Hopefully, Notre Dame can get back to the hype these next three games. I have my doubts after last weeks performance, but 2 more solid wins and a major bowl still lies ahead. Win the bowl game, and positive momentum can be taken into the offseason for a change.

I know UVA doesn't, just like Navy doesn't. I will not be surprised if Navy wins today.
Miami has played down to the competition all year like only beating a bad UNC team by one score. don't be shocked if UVA holds onto this 14 pt lead and wins

The Irish showed up nervous and intimidated. Miami came in sky high and confident. Game over.
Maybe you're not watching the game. The chain has been out 3 times already midway through the 3rd, and has been getting plenty of air time.
Miami is certainly a flaky team. I watched a mediocre Indiana team easily handle Virginia in Charlottesville earlier this season. They should be laying a beat down on UVA.
Notre Dame is certainly a flaky team. I'm watching an average Virginia team hang with a team that layed a beat down on ND.
Maybe Miami couldn't match that energy level 3 weeks in a row. Virginia was jacked in the first half.
Actually, other than Georgia and Miami, ND has dominated their other opponents. Miami has had several close games that shouldn’t have been.
Nope. But their QB's better at passing than Wimbush is. And that appears to be how you move the ball on the Canes - through the air.
As of this moment, it doesnt look like ND is dominating Navy.
