Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) four-star linebacker and Florida State commit Vandarius Cowan visited Notre Dame for the Irish Invasion back in June. He left with a positive outlook on the Irish, but wasn't sure if he would make it back to campus.

Rivals.com recruiting analyst @Rob Cassidy caught up with Cowan at a media day in South Florida on Saturday, and the rising junior said that he plans to take an official visit to Notre Dame despite having already given a pledge to the Seminoles.

It should be noted, that Cowan is close friends with current Irish freshman linebacker Tevon Coney and safety target Devin Studstill.
