Excellent podcast. The good defensive match ups discussed were against Stanford - last game of year and who knows what players will be contributing by then. However, many of the other teams use a hurry up offense. It seems our coaches want to substitute as often as they can, but against hurried up offenses, may not be realistic. The defensive line, with more players than ever, need to step up their game; for all the great talk about Day, he had only one sack. In fact the team had very few sacks. Good news is that new coach, Keith Gilmore, will be the coach to teach DL how to beat the player opposite of them. My take, defense will be as good as the DL takes us and will have to play better. Again very informative podcast.
