I heard this a little while back. What a mess.
In that case would he have to pay for his schooling? They dismissed a tight end after a title IX investigation a couple of years ago, and I think a judge ordered him reinstated to the school (but not the team).

How can a government judge put a person to a private school?
Meanwhile, USC is a hot mess with all this controversy brewing. A black student union has a problem with the mascots name of "Traveler". They say the name resembles Robert E. Lee's horse "Traveller", as in "Traveller" with two "Ls". ESPN, always willing to put their two cents into left leaning political affairs, has not involved themselves in this latest injustice as far as I can tell. The story is even too stupid for them and that's saying a lot.
Totally expect the USC to roll over just like all the spineless college administrators, businesses and political entities throughout the country are at the first whimper of anything perceived as "offensive" and/or not PC. Texas just removed all the statues in the middle of the night without telling anybody. I would imagine SC's other "mascot" is in jeapordy from some claimed descendants of people killed by gladiators.
