i'm listening to the japan vs England replay on Sirius xm radio before the finals begin in about an hour or so. England gave japan all they could handle and so I think our usa team should have a great chance to knock off the defending world cup champs if they play the way they did against germany

The Japanese have that time of possession thing that drives you nuts. They are very very well coached.

our usa team has just stunned japan by scoring two goals just within the first few minutes of the game. will japan be able knock off this shock and be able to come back

japan is still playing hard but I just don't see them scoring three goals against our defense

I wonder who would win in a contest of the US women vs the men's team from England? Some of those gals are as tough as nails!

My favorite play was the US women kicking a long one over the Japanese gal's head and bouncing in for a goal. Classic! Bwahahahahahah!

what i find particulary great is that the Aussies and Canadians had trashed the USA team as over rated!
Well, they can eat those words for the next few years!

Canada is probably still a bit bitter about the 2012 Olympic semis...In their defense, they did get hosed in that game and probably should have played for the yellow medal...However, it's been 3 years; get over it.

As far as the Aussies, that just seems idiotic. We played them and beat them head-to-head...Calling us overrated means they are indirectly implying that they suck since they lost to an "overrated team."

The east has a new sports hero....New York has Bunky "Freakin" Dent, and NJ now has Carli "Holy Sh*t" Lloyd :)

Very proud of these women...However, after a few more days of partying, they need to put this behind them, get hungry again and work towards winning another gold in 2016.
