Watching Tuiit against the Broncos , Looks like a real comer for the Steelers ,improving all the time , a long career in the NFL, a pro bowler in the future ?

Meanwhile , Louis Nix III ,drafted in the 3rd round by Houston Texans ,injured in his first year ,cut by Texans coach Bill O'Brien .O'Brien did not see any progress . I watched a pre season Texan game .Nix seemed slow ,easily blocked. Nix on Giants taxi squad .That is one step from being out of pro football . Did Nix not fully recover from his injury ? Weight problem ? Work ethic ?

What ever it is , his mother, his agent ,somebody needs to get on his case .

Longo just couldn't reshape his body - training table didn't help.

Nix was on the Giants practice squad at the end of the season.

He is not an attorney, at least not yet!

Being a Lifelong Steelers fan. I told my fellow Steelers buddies that we should draft Tuitt. and was blown away when we did. he along with Cam Heyward are 2 upcoming BEAST that every nfl team is going to have to deal with. Now if we could get Sheldon Day that would be another guy who could make the Steelers DL the best in the nfl in the next 2-3 yrs.

Tuitt started really coming on at the end of last yr. our DL coach John Mitchell said the sky is the limit for him. they thought so much of Tuitt that they gave him Aaron Smith's #91. Smith was the one of the best 3-4 DL in the history of the nfl. he never had great #'s but he did what a DL in the 3-4 was supposed to do. eat up blocks and take on double teams so the other guys could make plays. Tuitt knew who he was and spoke with him at training camp last yr. Tuitt said it was an honor to wear that # for the Steelers. and it didn't hurt to have Brett Keisel mentor Stephon last yr either. the future is BRIGHT for Stephon Tuitt. he is only going to get better.

Once tuitt gets that adult maturation in a couple years he will be so dominant. He is well on his way.
Btw...that game against the Broncos I can say Tomlin actually had nothing to do with that loss. A rarity but that game was all on that one turnover.

I remember when the consensus was that Nix was bound to be the next Warren Sapp.
