I don't remember ever seeing so many trick plays run against us in a season. Is this a sign that we are good and teams feel they have to resort to these? Or is this a sign that our defense is very undisciplined?

Whatever the reason, you can bet we will be seeing a lot more. Especially against the teams we have coming up (Temple, Pitt, BC).

as long as they are successful teams will try them. You have seen the D, which do you think the answer is?
Occam's razor.

Does anyone have a running tally of these? I'm legitimately curious, but can't remember them all.

it could be that teams see that we're athletic, but aggressive and can be exposed by that aggressiveness. Just speculating.

Aggressive? It appears to be more like doing your own job and trusting your teammates to do theirs. BK never said one time that Cole Luke was aggressive in his play and that was the reason for the USC TD. He did say that Luke was "nosey" and he needs to do his own job. Giving up the big play seems to be the theme this season. Whether it be trick play or just a running play up the middle.

At first I thought this would be an easy request, but now I can't remember how many there have been. At least one by at Virginia, Mass, and USC. Didn't Navy try one too?
