A good distance for throws in; javelin, Discus, shot put?
My son is a 15yr old freshman in HS. Just started this year has never done this before. His throws are
Shot put average 25feet, longest 27' 4", shortest 22' but most are around 25'
Discus, he is having trouble with the disc, still working on technique. But what is considered good in HS and average?
Javelin he throws in the mid 50 feet range. Still working on form and technique.
I have no ideal, never did track and field. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
